The Whatcom Orcas women’s basketball team (3-9 NWAC, 5-19 overall) used a strong fourth-quarter push to rally past the Edmonds Tritons (3-9 NWAC, 7-17 overall) in a hard-fought NWAC North reguib matchup.
Whatcom starts the 2025-26 NWAC North league season at 3-0. The Orcas will face rival Skagit Valley this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Bellingham. Skagit is also 3-0 to start the league season. The Orcas fell behind early at 5-4, but they never trailed the Rangers again.
